Infertility is a medical condition defined by the inability to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse, or after 6 months for women aged 35 or older. It also includes the inability to carry a pregnancy to term, such as experiencing repeated miscarriage.
You should see a fertility doctor if you have tried to conceive for 12 months without success, or for 6 months if you are age 35 or older.
